SNL parody of Google Glass

In some quarters it is now “conventional wisdom” that Google Glass is going to seem dorky and laughable at first. But it’s probably just the pre-alpha version of the type of technology which seems inevitable (and is familiar to anyone who has read cyberpunk science fiction).

    I love the delicious irony of regional content protection. I was blocked from watching a humourous video that I would no doubt enjoy despite living in another country but the system had no problem at all first serving me up an advertisement for a product that is not available in my country and which I couldn’t buy even if I wanted to.
