Like I said, I've criticized Smith enough lately, and that was not the purpose of the post. Now Art Caplan is criticizing Smith over this. As far as I can tell, Smith did exactly what he said he did (see here) - he wrote about research that was done in a peer reviewed journal and also warned (twice!) that many more tests and research have to be done before we announce that a cure has been found and that there may be other factors involved. It seems that Smith agrees with Blackburn, don't you think? What is there to criticize Smith about in that link?
