		<description>I wonder who first came up with the idea of eating sea cucumbers?  I think many of them are just too cute to eat - that&#039;d be like eating your pet puppies.  They&#039;re one of the many animals I love staring at.

While on the topic of sea stuff I&#039;ll digress into surface water acidification.  Australia shows more political fumbling as it defers its emissions trading scheme for two years (basically after the next federal election).  Putting on my cynic&#039;s costume I&#039;d say it&#039;s a vote loser so decisions have to be left to the next elected government.  The proposed scheme would have been 100% useless but still I wish that they could come up with a useful and sensible scheme sooner rather than later.  In the meantime, expect an ever increasing dissolved inorganic carbon fraction in sea water.</description>
