I Heart Seattle

by Chris Mooney

My trip out here has been just wonderful–two well attended talks, two fun radio shows, absolutely zero complaints. My habit since roughly 2003 has been to come out to Seattle once per year, but in 2009 I have the fortune of coming twice–I’ll be back for in August for another event with actual books to sell this time.

Meanwhile, though, I have lotsa people to thank, most centrally my pals from the Northwest Science Writers Association (you know who you are) and the Pacific Science Center, which has now hosted me for the second time. Thanks for once again bringing me to the town where you can’t get bad coffee or beer and grungy is clean. And thanks especially to Tom Paulson for sharing lots of “paradigm shift” martinis with me at Andaluca. (Who wouldn’t drink heavily in honor of Thomas Kuhn?)

Meantime here are the links from my Seattle trip: Seattle Post Intelligencer, Seattlest, KUOW’s The Conversation, Seattle Times….see you folks again soon!
