by Sheril Kirshenbaum

While composing my next book–tentatively titled The Science of Kissing–look for The Sunday Snog each weekend.

    I love this picture!

    Hold it! Where was this photograph taken? If it was taken in some Islamic countries, then these two creatures are violating the law with a public display of affection and will have to be flogged. If they are of the same sex, and this picture was taken in the USA, then they’re a threat to marriage. And if they’re of different sexes and they’re in some Islamic countries, then the female is stark naked and should be wearing a chador — and YOU would be guilty of distributing pornography!

    And if you try to show this picture in China — well, they’ll think of SOME reason to block it.

    This really is cute. I approve of the new Sunday snog policy.

    Erasmussimo – thanks for sucking all the fun out of a cute animal picture. EVERYTHING doesn’t require scathing social commentary. Sometimes a chipmunk is just a chipmunk.

    Continuing in my wet blanket role: aren’t those prairie dogs, not chipmunks?

    you are quite right – they are prairie dogs. OBVIOUSLY that invalidates my statement completely.

    So, humans aren’t the only ones who do it.

    @Erasmussimo

    The picture is adorable though!
