Where I live, Long Island, roadsides and adjacent woods are typically covered with blowing plastic bags,
plastic drink bottles, styrofoam etc. and the Atlantic is not far away. I don’t think we can blame a corporation this time. Its us. Homo sapiens. Grocery stores are starting to offer reusable bags
and they’re starting to catch on, but clearly thats not enough. What’s the solution? Can biodegradables replace all the functions that people want in plastics?
