Who Are Our ‘Celebrity Doppelgangers’?

by The Intersection

We’re still laughing at the photo sent by Melody Hensley in honor of the recent Celebrity Doppelganger Week on Facebook. She writes, “Do these two remind you of anyone?”

wonderyears

Hmmm… They do look kind of familiar. What do you think?

The suggestion sparked a discussion on who else our look-a-likes might be.

SK picked for Chris.

CM chose for Sheril.

So now we open the floor to readers… who might you suggest for our doppelgangers?

I’ve always thought that SK looked a bit like Natalie Portman.

Summer Glau. But I don’t know who Sheril’s would be. :)

I think Chris looks like Phil Jones.

    There are only two differences:
    1) Chris is quite a bit younger.
    2) Chris still believes in global warming.

    @Nero-conservative:

Chris believes in global warming, and so does Phil Jones. If you actually bothered to read the very article you linked to, you would read this:

“He said he stood by the view that recent climate warming was most likely predominantly man-made.”

He also says this of course:

“But he agreed that two periods in recent times had experienced similar warming. And he agreed that the debate had not been settled over whether the Medieval Warm Period was warmer than the current period.”

But that doesn’t mean he thinks global warming isn’t real. He cearly says the earth is warming and that it’s anthropogenic, i.e. man-made.

I’ll just quietly assume that you call yourself ‘neuro-conservative’ because you use as little brain power as possible to understand the things around you—I would suggest doing the opposite from here on out.

[...] Here’s their posting about it. Okay, Chris isn’t a perfect match for Fred Savage but Sheril found an even better one. I think it’s the dude from Twilight: [...]

Quite suiting for a science blog as Danica McKellar is a published mathematician.
