Come Sail the Geek Islands Next Year! (Er, I Mean, Greek Islands)

by Chris Mooney

santorini churchIt’s been officially announced: I’m joining Ron Lindsay, Lawrence Krauss, Joyce Salisbury and Phil Plait on the Center for Inquiry’s Mediterranean Cruise in May of 2011.

We’ll be in the eastern Mediterranean on board the MSC Musica, setting out from Venice and making stops at Santorini (whose famed church is pictured at right), Piraeus, Corfu, and many other places where all the Gods like to hang out.

This is all organized under the auspices of the CFI Travel Club–about which, more here.

Is it too much to say it will be an…odyssey?

I hope to see you there. (If you need to find me, I’ll be the guy who stays up late and never manages to get off the boat.)
