    A vice president of the Cato Institute was recently fired for writing this:

    Looks like certain donors of Cato’s couldn’t have a VP speaking off message on the culture wars!

    James Fallows is not going to be pleased.

    According to Wikipedia, though, “following Krugman’s column, he declared “peace on the boiled frog front” and said that using the story is fine as long as you point out it’s not literally true.”

    An excellent point, provided you say “climate change” since it’s much more than just warming (ocean acidification, spread of infectious diseases etc.)

    Haven’t you seen the latest Newspeak dictionary? “Climate Change” is now an unword too: Czar Holdren says we should henceforth all call it “Global Climate Disruption”. Good idea, I say.

    It’s very funny. Out of the frying pan and into the fire…
