I actually just read "Unscientific America" last week! Very well written.

Beyond that, other recent science books have included "Cosmos" and "Pale Blue Dot" by Car Sagan, "Department of Mad Scientists" by Michael Belfiore (a very good read!), and "Wired for War" by P.W. Singer.

Then, of course, there's all the science fiction I've read in the past few years, including pretty much everything thing written by Ben Bova and Alastair Reynolds, and a healthy dose of Jack McDevitt, too, for good measure.

What can I say? I like to read!
