My kid does it. And it actually destroys intelligence to give Crachpot Crichton a journalism award. In addition to global warming, Crichton fiercely advocated that the germ theory of disease was also a hoax, but that psychic spoonbending, mystic aura-reading, and demonic possession and exorcism are all real. He was just another ignorant celebrity activist--the Streisand of the right. @2: it doesn’t take much intelligence to dig a hole in the ground. My kid does it.

You're not surprised, are you? Second, I got as far as Sheril's being accused as having "an agenda" because she staffed for Bill Nelson, and I stopped reading. I worked in the oil services industry, so I can assure you the "agenda" is theirs. Specifically: do everything in your power to stop pollution controls. Mix truth with lies, and apply Karl Rove's unfortunately successful technique of shining negative light on any opposition promoting anything "green," especially personal attacks. It's shameful, it's disgusting, but it's real. And God forbid you ever associate yourself with anything Democratic or Liberal. I'm no leftie, I'm moderate, but don't expect to get ahead in the oil industry unless you present yourself as a hard-core right-wing conservative, and a Republican.
