Warm Globally, Speak Locally

If you live anywhere near my home town of Guilford, Connecticut, I’d be delighted if you could join me Thursday at 7:30 at the Guilford Free Library for a talk, “Will Global Warming Redraw the Map of Life?” (flyer pdf) I’ll be discussing extinction projections, assisted migration, and more.

Quick note to those of you who may not have been to the Guilford Library for a few months (or years)- it’s not where you think it is! Due to an extensive renovation, the building on the Guilford Green is closed and thus the library is temporarily located off Goose Lane (I-95 Exit 59). Click on the link which Carl provided for more details.

Will you be making available a transcript of the talk or will Guilford Free Libray do this?

Well, I’m a tad late for your talk, but I spend way too much time on the roads between NY and Boston; now that I Know Where You Live, maybe I could buy you a beer some time.
