		<description>I think this is just awesome.  I had no idea (well, I never really thought about it) that others tattooed themselves in the name of science.  As a grad student who studied Crotalus horridus, the timber or canebrake rattlesnake, I was inspired to have one tattooed on my back.  I asked the tattoo artist to hand draw one for me, putting in as much detail and color as he could.  I&#039;ve never regretted the decision and think it&#039;s fantastic that others do the same!</description>
