		<description>This Nitrogen-cycle diagram -- which exists in myriad versions -- is often attributed to my father.  He wasn&#039;t the tattooing type, but I think he would have been quite honored by your choice.  When I got a tattoo I went for the now-classic Ernst Haeckel ophiuroid: http://www.glue.umd.edu/~delwiche/images/brittlestar2.jpg  My rationale was that I didn&#039;t want to raid someone else&#039;s culture for a cool design, and my cultural background is, well, science.  Haeckel made his mistakes, but he was a terrific artist.</description>
