Cheri writes, “I am a huge fan of yours. I also want to share my new science tattoo, which I got because I am a biotechnologist and wanted to show my love of science….The blue atomic symbol is for science; the black biotech is for, well, biotech; and the flower is my home state’s flower, the Alaskan forget-me-not which also symbolizes life.”

Cool!
I’ve got the biohazard symbol on my lower back, and I have an atom symbol around the caduceus (that lovely pole with snakes entwining it that symbolizes medicine) on the front of my left shoulder, to symbolize my interest in the uses of radiation in medicine.

Thanks! I want to thank Lantz at Zulu Tattoo for doing such a beautiful job. I am so excited that Dr. Zimmer posted it!

Now that is a tattoo that you won’t regret as you get older. Really beautiful, in design, in execution, and in symbolism. Good for you, Cheri.
