I would be curious just to see what the viral load and diversity of regular farm raised cattle, pigs, and chicken in the US are as exposure to these is far greater and the current practices certainly favour both infection and transmission. [CZ: There's not that much work done on viruses US farm animals, which is too bad, because we know that pigs are "mixing vessels" for new kinds of flu viruses. That being said, that's no reason not to be concerned about these wildlife viruses, in part because we have the painful experiences of HIV and SARS to show that wild animals from the tropics (chimps, bats) can definitely lead to human diseases.]

I have one question: when you say “China, Hong Kong, and Nigeria [are] countries that plagued with some of the most worrisome animals viruses, such as Nipah virus and the H5N1 bird flu’, where are you getting that info. As far as I know, Nipah has only shown up in Malaysia and Bangladesh.
