Perhaps this the beginning of a different sort of biocomputing; interfacing multiple humans' brain power with multiple computers to solve real problems. So what comes after "Foldit"?

I don't like the fact that the results of the gamers work is not available to the public and to the gamers themselves. The PDB files which are generated can be accessed and used only by the admins of the program for their profit. An individual researcher/gamer cannot take his results at home. Such a closed system is against the freedom of the web

So the objective of the game is to kind of "crumple" the molecules into different shapes?

Y'know what would likely be an amazingly interesting study, is if you looked at the actual actions of the users, in aggregate, to see what problem solving algorithm THEY used in comparison to the one that was written.

Sadly, Super Mario Bros did not generate any useful data despite my extensive efforts through the latter half of the 1980s.
