This would explain why the huge unexplained craving for yogurt I had the other day suddenly went away when I just kept thinking about it.

Anyway, Anna, you may be on to something there. I have a roommate who claims that reading the blog "This Is Why You're Fat" (a collection of fantasically unhealthy food) is an effective method to keep himself on a low-fat diet.

I have read the article and I think that it is amazing to just image your self eating, what ever food you are craving for, and then afterwards not wanting it anymore. I noticed that I when ever I have some food cravings, I end up eating a lot, and then after I finish eating, I find myself thinking how I could have lived with out that moment.
Since most craving are for unhealthy food, this method would probably help a lot more people eat healthy and not go overweight.
(I am 14)

Hmm... I wonder if it would be feasible to repeat this experiment with blue whales as subjects.

"Afterwards, everyone was given a bowel containing 40 grams of real M&Ms,"

That would certainly curb my food cravings...

[Oh dear. The irony is that I keep on having to avoid writing bowl cancer in my day job! - Ed
