		<description>It is probably not fair to call a photodiode an electrode. Saying one has 1500 and the other has 60 implies that the resolution is 25 x greater for the sub-retinal implant, which is not the case. Argus II patients seem to do as well or better (see recent Ophthalmology paper) - and over the long term, not just a few months. Note also that color vision has been demonstrated with Argus II (ARVO 2011, Euretina 2011, ARVO 2012). It is a distinct benefit of having the camera and the processing outside of the eye.</description>
