Without a doubt this is the biggest election ever in my household. I'd never thought about the engrained aspect of how we vote, especially because I've changed/split from my parents' positions.

Being aware of our predispositions is important, and we can counter balance those by seeking information about the candidates before making our "final decision."

An issue that's of great importance to me is investment in health research. My organization, Research!America, and our partners have asked all presidential candidates where they stand on this and related issues. We've also asked all candidates for Congress to weigh in with their positions as well. You can see the results of our questionnaire at www.yourcandidatesyourhealth.org.
