		<description>Sounds like either Daimos or Taekwan V. There actually weren&#039;t that many giant robots in anime that were controlled with motion capture, surprisingly. Daimos is the one that turns into a truck, while Taekwon V doesn&#039;t. Also, one is Japanese, the other is from South Korea.

There&#039;s also G Gundam, but that didn&#039;t come out till 94, so that&#039;s probably too late to be what you&#039;re describing.</description>
