Terminator: Watch it!

bios_summer.pngJust a short note to say that if you’re one of those people who haven’t liked the pace of the current season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, then make sure you get caught up, because Friday’s night’s episode paid off for faithful viewers with not just one of the best episodes of the series, but one of the most memorable episodes of televised science fiction, period. This Friday’s episode is the season finale, and with the show’s current breakneck momentum, it looks to be a can’t miss. Here’s hoping the show gets picked up for another season.

Girls with guns – how can it go wrong? A pistol grip on a 12 ga. shotgun works if the shooter does not plan to volitionally hit anything: recoil on 1.25 oz of lead exiting at 1330 fps (2 3/4″ shotshell with #4 Buck) is 32 ft-lbs. When firing an automatic weapon, do not follow your moving target: pan into it from the opposite direction. Aim! It makes a world of difference. You are responsible for every projectile you launch..

I think the breakneck pace is so that they can come to some kind of conclusion due to the fact that it’s not likely to be picked up for another season. It had potential, though it did move pretty slowly. I watched it, but haven’t really enjoyed it for a while until the more recent episodes.

Ok, I’ll give it a go. I just hope it doesn’t get wishy-religion-washy like BSG…
