		<description>You confuse two different risks. It is unlikely that one person getting a transplant, whether from a human or from an animal will get infected, but the consequences are quite different. If you are infected by an organ from another human it&#039;s just you being infected. If a mutation causes a mutation that creates a new disease, that disease can spread far beyond the original victim. A disease jumping to humanity only has to happen once, anywhere on Earth. This has been taken seriously enough that apes were early ruled out as organ donors because we are too similar and thus the infection risk is too great.</description>
