It’s a nice idea, but I’m doubtful. Genetic engineering is going to be expensive, certainly at first, and also mean a big investment of personal time and energy. Are people who’ve bought a fancy car LESS likely to keep it clean and waxed?

No, first convince helicopter parents that a certain amount of dirty, chaos, and hardship is good for the kid. Then sit back and watch them carefully measure it out.
