I think gamers are good at dealing with A.I. We spend a lot of time in artificial environments dealing with A.I. We have continued emotional experiences when dealing with game consoles. And living artificial lives while interacting in these gamer worlds. To me most of the things expressed in this article and in the Futurama clip are part of everyday life. They have been for over twenty years. Because since I discovered gaming most of my life has been lived in some sort of artificial world. Most of my friends and family members live this way. Sometimes we have entire conversations about artificial environments, game characters. I know the games are not real, but they are real when we are playing, or talking about playing.
